Stand up… Motivation Monday…

Sometimes is so hard to get up the 'gumption'. as my nan used to call it, to start again… it's Monday so its the right thing to do.. right?! But sometimes it's easier to just crawl back under the duvet and forget today ever started… Tomorrow will never come… and putting things on the long finger means they never get done… do you really want to be in the same place this time next year? Hoping that you'll lose a stone by summer? It's possible to do … it really is… but only if your mindset it right… just because you didn't succeed in the past .. doesn't mean you won't succeed this time… the key is to keep going and do it for you… here's to a fab week!

Bank Holiday Challenge!

Now before you all correct me… I know it's 9 weeks till the actual June bank holiday but I'm allowing for Easter, the May Holiday and I'm away for a week too… so this will finish just in time!

How it's gonna work you ask …

Put you're name below if you're going to do the challenge for the full 8 weeks… I love seeing people take part and you all motivate each other so much but it takes a lot of time to get everyones weigh ins together and if you only want to sign up for a few weeks, I'll put up some graphics up next week and you can print out and do the challenge at home at your own pace and let me know how you are doing…

The challenge will run for 8 weeks… there will be a post up every Friday morning (called 'weigh in 4/5/6') for posting your losses … and I'll post up the revised chart on a Monday morning!

So in keeping with the Bank Holiday theme… Get yourself a little 'piggy bank'… it can be a bottle, jar, teacup, box… whatever you fancy and for every pound you lose… put in a euro, or two euro.. whatever you can part with each week… better still get the boyfriend, wife, flat mate, colleagues, siblings, mum or dad to part with a euro per pound too to support you and the end of it, you'll have at least €8 to spend on you… a new nail polish… a magazine… a treat… No one is going to be a millionaire but you will want to see that pot growing!!!

Half a stone going by the bank holiday can mean a dress size for most of us! With a few long weekends and Easter to contend with it won't be easy but it CAN be done! So who's in?

In other news…  I've been given the all clear by my physio, soooo as long as I follow his training plan for my dodgy knee, I can do the mini marathon on the June Bank Holiday! Fingers crossed eh? YAY!

#BOBBLOGCHALLENGE - the finale!

Last one! 8 weeks and yet none of us has aged a day! (probably due to all the lovely make up we've bought following these posts!)  *sniffles* Firstly, lots of blog love to Samantha from All The Buzz blog who ran this challenge…  >>> HERE <<< and all the other bloggers who participated (all listed on Sams site!) … it's lovely to have new blogs to follow and comment on!

The final post is about sharing the blog love and  a bit of a nosey to see what everyone else is reading… most of these you will know and follow… Happily the majority are Irish … There's a few lifestyle blogs thrown in for good measure… I follow so many food blogs… and fitness blogs… and cake blogs… and crochet stuff blogs… glitter blogs… and… and… and… sigh… !

So in no particular order… (but you know YOU'RE my favourite!) Feast your eyes on some of my favs to read … all are linked *crosses fingers and toes* … enjoy x

You'll need google translate for fashionnette.nl  only takes a minute but so worth it!
Just type the web address into the translate box and ta da… you're good to go!

Catch up on all the posts on twitter >>> #BOBBlogChallenge!

Must dash… just something in my eye…*sniffs*

We are not a-Müesli'd …

See what I did there… I'll get my coat…

Two new products that are sounding like they're good for you and if you're a musli fan you'll probably love em… BUT… These pots are small for a breakfast that's suppose to get you through till lunch time… I was never a musli fan… too much like looking into a birds nest.. and, like most of us, I eat with my eyes…

I'm a big fan of Onken yoghurt too as you'll know from this post >>> HERE <<<  but 6PP for the pot does not compare to porridge with a banana and a large coffee with skinny milk which will keep you going till lunch with some fruit and a yoghurt if you get peckish…

and the second product Nusli is irish made… again full of goodness from the packaging and its smaller than the Onken version for 7 PP … If you love musli and you miss it, this might fill the void but if you're looking for a breakfast to take you through the day, these are for you…

Small pot big pro points… 6PP for the pot!

 6PP for 200g

 6PP for 200g

7PP for 180g!

Full of goodness… and Irish made…

It's not easy…

These past few weeks I've seen and heard of a few people getting some nasty comments online and I've personally addressed mine here and I'm done with the spiteful muppets…  I don't know these successful people personally but I follow their stories and they're successful people in weight loss, business, all walks of life and they're people who have worked really hard to get where they are… its time to remember no one is handed success… its earned…

If someone loses a half a pound, I high five em… I'm a regular cheer leader because life is miserable enough to get through and I know how hard it is to lose it! A perfect example of hard earned success Mr. Q… my go to Weight Watchers hero… His blog is >>> HERE <<< …

When someone completes a marathon, I am in awe, I'm never gonna run one with my gammy knee but they just didn't get up and say 'I'm gonna run a marathon today'… They trained… early in the morning… after work… in the rain and cold… when they wanted to stay and watch telly… or go to the movies or… I dunno bake a cake… they set a goal and had the passion and fire in their belly to do it… Success is handed to no one… and there are sacrifices… and not in the dramatic way, no one is losing a limb… but the blisters, the cold feet, the sore muscles are all earned!

So this week, take a note from Adele's book… there's a lady happy to give two fingers to the haters…

There are too many people out there who are ready to bring you down… 'you're just showing off' … 'its easy for you'… nope… its hard and getting harder… so surround yourself with positive people and if they can't be positive tell em to zip it! If you're down half a pound its a success and you've earned my applause!

A challenge starting Friday! eek!!!
