Funny flavoured Weetabix

You can tell its back to school when they start messing about with the staples...

I'm a Weetabix fan, especially when I want a little break from porridge... but I'm happy to chop a banana in for 0PP or add some Choc Shot ... I know a lot of people who like chocolate flavoured cereal in the evening watching the telly.. so these might be a sweet fix that you need... 2PP per biscuit so you'll need to add you milk to that...

YOU CAN!

Ever wake up and think... I just can't do it... it's too hard... no one will care anyway... I'm not worth it... I'm too busy... sure I'll only fail and put it all back on again anyway...

Lets just kick that to the curb!

How much do you want it? I mean REALLY want it...  then the answer is YES you can do it!

And to rock out the old cliche... if I can do it... ANYONE can... and I know you really REALLY want it...

Padraigin's Pizza

It's Irish... it's freshly frozen and 100% natural so it ticks all my boxes... oh and it's delicious... I spotted these in my local SuperValu so they're out there... and although a little high in Propoints if you like to try new stuff they're worth a look...

I purchased the 'Hot & Spicy' version and I added my usual freebies to bulk it up to keep me away from the garlic bread.. I added peppers and mushrooms and some wafer thin ham I had left over in the fridge!

There are 6 pizzas in the range, all 400g for the full pizza... the diet maths are having fun with these ones.. but here you go...

Tuna Infusions Steam Pots...

These are one of those emergency 'I'M STARVIN!' foods for the cupboard... Steam Pots Tuna Infusions from John West... I tried the Soy and Ginger version and it wasn't for me.. the mushroom couscous was delish but the tune kinda ruined it for me ... but I'm definitely going to try the lemon and thyme one...

I'm a planner when it comes to meals so when something upsets the plan then I'm all lost! I always have roasted veg in the fridge or oven... I always have salary bits and pieces... So bulking this up was easy... The portion size was good you can kinda judge it by the size of it in my hand but for me they're for emergencies only... If anyone else has tried 'em comment below I'd love to hear what you thought...

My path is blocked...

My path to contentment that is.... and I always thought it would be blocked by food... turns out my state of mind is holding the stop sign! There have been times when I've felt short changed by my weight problem, craving to be skinny in the misguided belief that once I was, I'd be blissfully happy.... sheesh! I read recently about a lottery winner in the UK who actually won the lottery twice and both times it ruined his life! (I wouldn't mind trying it though!!!)

Happiness is as much about the attitude we bring to our lives as what happens in it.... The main cause for me being miserable ... isn't the situation... but my attitude towards it! Time to banish thoughts of what ifs.. and whens.. and make peace with what I do have... a loving family, a lovely home, a sense of humour and the ability to work on my health to improve an already great life. Time to stop pinning everything on BIG events.. "when i lose weight ... life will start!" .. time to start taking pleasure out of everyday and live life today in the now.

Stop comparing yourself to others and make peace with the fact that sometimes things just don't work out how you think they will ... and that they're just not meant to...

Pizza bases...

Making your own pizza is easy... even if you don't make the dough... you can control the toppings and flavours and really bulk up on the freebie stuff and add all the herbs and seasoning to suit yourself and its fun to experiment...

Some ready made pizza bases I've come across recently... and my own WW pita pizza..

Pizza Sorrento  - 13PP per base... 7PP per half

Pizza da Piero - 10PP per base

Tesco Everyday Value Pizza base - 21PP per base (!)

WW pita breads are 3 PP each and perfect for mini pizzas!

Bases are 3PP each...

Add a teaspoon of tomato paste to each one...

and get building...

You can add protein, chicken or wafer thin ham or whatever you fancy...

Some low fat cheese to add meltiness, for 3PP... and season... look out for italian seasonings they're YUM!

Under the grill and TA DA!

Repeat after me....

Because you really really want to...

That. Is. ALL!
