I spotted these in Aldi on one of my trips... The Taste of India - Bilash seasonings... I know everyone is tired of cooking at this stage, anyone else missing just reading a menu!? These can be very handy to get a really flavourful dinner together without all the drama of having the right spices in the house! I've done the SPs for the full sachet, so you can just divide up your recipe no matter what plan you're on... and per 9g portion! Anyone tried them out? x

Just hunted and found last packet of Bombay potato seasoning from this brand....wow not even the recipes that I have meets this standard. Please bring it back Aldi please.

ReplyDeleteI just wish ALDI kept these packets in stock all the time. It's about 6 months since I've seen any in my local store.
ReplyDeleteLove these mixes bombay potatoes, tandoori chicken, bang bang chicken mix I wish they'd permanently stock them ideal for meal prep to.
ReplyDeleteThe trouble with Aldi is that you never know if something that you start to rely on will be pulled. Sometimes it may come back months later, sometimes it has just gone forever. I have learnt to simply make my own! The Bilash (just) powder seasonings are a prime example. At the moment, you can still get the liquid ones, and the 'dual' ones.
ReplyDeleteA selection reappeared in Aldi towards the end of 2023. Sadly my favourite - Butter Chicken - wasn't included.
