Just look at the difference in SmartPoints! Before I left town, I SmartPointed the new recipe 'Guilt Free Snacking' range of popcorns from M&S and right beside the I snapped some of the 'Not so guilty' flavours! They do look amazing but how many of us could open the bag, take out a portion and walk away?! Another lesson in mindless shopping! Not me and I don't even have a sweet tooth! x

Gourmet.. Popcorn...

OK firstly, not only are these goodies Gluten Free, Vegetarian AND Irish made but the sweet chilli one is SOOOOOO gooooooood! 

All the bags are the same size in shape but they all weigh differently... so weigh out your portions or wipe the lot out of your weeklies if you're a popcorn fan!

These are available in ALDI ... I've only tried the sweet chilli one but that's enough to get me to try the rest! Anyone else given these a try? Do let me know!

Popcorn...

First up... notice the 'sharing bag' label... I know.. nearly as funny as those stickers on the back of 're-sealable' bags of chocolate! like THAT'S a thing!!! Who RE-SEALS an empty bag of chocolate?!?! bahahahahahahaha ... ahhh people who make snacks are funny... 

So... this week, some more savoury treats... popcorn... we're coming into the winter now and we're all nestling down under the duvets watching LOVE/HATE ... but unlike our cave cousins we don't need to build up layers of fat in case we run out of food... we're stocked up 24/7 these days although our bodies are programmed to think differently! So snack lightly!

Note the varying weights in all the bags, even within the same brand... something to keep your eye on when you're pointing 10g can make a difference!

Proper like... Popcorn!

I'm all about the savoury snacks at the moment and these are delish... also one of the lowest pointed popcorns around... PROPERCORN come in three flavours, I tried the Sour cream & chive flavour for 3PP and its YUM! Crisp addicts TA DA!!! Not the easiest to find but they are out there... go forth my savoury junkies!

You can stop looking now!

You can all stop looking... I've found it... the holy grail of popcorn!!! No really!!! Walkers Sensation Popcorn in Sweet Indian Spices is all you're ever going to need again... *drools*

As a savoury gal my 'research' in crisp tasting is extensive... all for you people you know... Selfless ... I'm just selfless... I haven't even tried the Cinnamon & Salt or the Thai Sweet Chilli (if you have comment below and let us know if they're just as yummy!) but the Sweet Indian Spices is just the hit for anyone who can't be bothered with chocolate...

The damage... 13PP for the large 90g pack or 4PP for the 30g portion (diet maths again!) but to me... worth every ProPoint!

Guilt free snacking from M&S...

Marks & Spencer have a range of snacks out labelled 'guilt free snacking' ... 

On my last walk through M&S I purchased two of the range as I'm a savoury tooth... in fact all my teeth are savoury who am I trying to kid... 

First up 'Smokey Bacon Lentil Tubes'... These are YUM!!! They come in a multi pack of 5 but you DEFINITELY get the bacon hit, I'm talking 'rancheros' for those in the savoury camp... anyone who loves bacon knows what I mean... I am devoid of crisps at the moment on I'm on a 'healthy skin' regime ... More about that in an upcoming post! But sure I couldn't resist these at 2PP per 25g bag... they're something different to try out if you're missing your crisp fix... 

The Chocolate & Pecan Popcorn are 3PP per bag... These would be perfect for the cinema... and I bought them for that very reason... but the warm weather has kept me outside rather than in the dark looking for George Clooney and Jason Statham! But I tried one (things I do for you lot!) and they're yummy too... considering what you'd spend on popcorn at the movies you'll get your popcorn AND choccie fix with these! There's lots of others in the range I'll be popping them on here and instagramming them over the next while...
