These may seem high in SPs for some but they are pretty substantial in size, nice and thick too! If you're watching your sugars, the carrot wrap is one that might interest you... Whilst we still have those salady days with us they might be fun to try... I picked up the beetroot ones this week! Anyone tried them out? x

Cranberry & Chocolate Mince pies!

Now, I'm not a mince pie fan... but THIS I might be able to get on board with! Irish Made, happy days... Cranberry & chocolate mince meat! Fruit - check, Belgian chocolate - check, stout - on a good day - check and rum - BIG check! I might even attempt to make a few myself with this stuff! Anyone cooked with it? x

High Protein Cheese - Dunnes

I know high protein cheese isn't for everyone but it can really give you that cheesey fix, without all the points... I LOVE cheese, I'm convinced I was a mouse in a former life... or a cheese maker! Grating this over pita breads or in toasted wraps/sandwiches will give you that cheesey flavour without all the SmartPoints... I'm a fan of this one... Anyone else tried it out? x

Ready made soups - Dunnes Stores

More soups from Dunnes today, these are a selection of the ready made soups they have out at the moment. I've tried the chestnut mushroom one and it's gorgeous! Something I'd never make a bowl of just for me... I got two lunches out of the 500g tub! Sadly, they can't be frozen, but so nice for a change! Definitely have the spiced parsnip one on my radar! SmartPoints are for the half the tub, 250g and the full 500g tub. There's such a big selection, definitely something for everyone! Anyone else tried them out? x

Organic soups from Dunnes Stores

Tis' the season... yup. soup season is upon us and I've a few posts coming up with the ready made soups out there for the days when you just want a change from the same butternut squash soup you make over and over, I'm a devil for doing the same thing over and over then swearing off it for months! These organic soups from Dunnes are great value SPs... 350ml tubs so loads for lunch and the red lentil one could be added to a casserole or loads of veggies to make a little stew too...  I only spotted these two flavours so will keep my eyes peeled for any more! Simply Better Salads from Dunnes...

I'm still clinging onto summer, I don't care what the weather person is saying, salads are still on the menu in my house! I was in Dunnes doing the 'big shop' this week (btw I didn't spy the new Ballymaloe balsamic dressing everyones on about, anyone spotted it yet?) however I did spot these... a lovely range of ready made salady bits that you might not make at home but fancy somethign to jazz up the lettuce and tomatoes you do have! Stonebaked Thin & Crispy Base - Dunnes

Spotted this Stonebaked Thin & Crispy Pizza base in Dunnes... if using wraps as a base isn't for you... they can be popped in the freezer too! Load it up with all the free stuff... passata, mushrooms, caramelised onions, tomatoes, spring onion, peppers, courgette and even slices of chicken breast... then point your cheese and you'd have a whopper pizza! Anyone tried them out? x
