We are all meant to shine - Week 5 weigh in!



Now, I'm not a religious person.. for lots of personal reasons.. and living in Ireland adds to the distrust I have with an instition like the Catholic church .. but I do believe there's something bigger than us out there.. and I'm a firm believer in KARMA! But this week someone gave me this to read.. whether you're religious or not.. you have every right to be the person you are and look how you like and be what you want to be... weight is what we HAVE ... not who we are!!! So read this.. and then take it in... and read it again!



Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

    I officially gained 2 this week, it's not been the greatest week but I'm determined to crack on now. Better week ahead.

  3. Another 0.5 loss again last week...it's great seeing how they all add up, I'm 5lbs down since the start of the challenge:)

  4. I've been struck down by a bad cold the past couple of weeks, am just getting over it now. I didn't care what I was eating while ill (too lazy to make anything proper) so I haven't weighed in since week before last but I am back on track this week and will hopefully be back to 12.2 (or under if I somehow managed to avoid putting on weight)

  5. Finally, I seem to be back on track! I lost a pound last week, and 3.2 this week: may the losses keep on coming!

  9. -2.5 :o) Brings me back down the Amsterdam +2 last week and an extra .5 :o) so -9.5 in total now! Am off to Rome this weekend to visit a friend and going to try not indulge toooo much in the pasta/pizza/gelato but hey when in Rome ;o)

  10. I have STS even though this week I tried hardest of all weeks so far. I hate my scales...seriously I think I need some new ones as my weight can flucuate up to 5 lbs by getting off and back on the scales!!
