Its not in the fridge! Week 3...
I know I'm great at preaching the .. 'there's no such thing as ONLY a half pound' .. but this week I sighed getting off the scales... Down a half and still not happy... My new mantra this week... 'its not in the fridge!' Whatever problem I've got.. and on the world scale they don't even register.. the answer.. no matter how hard I look... isn't in the fridge!
Does anyone else find that fighting the cravings becomes worse than the cravings?!?! This won't turn into a landslide... I've come too far to let it all fall apart... just a week with a brain overload... and experience has taught me that filling my tummy doesn't remove that knot of discomfort that was already there... it just moves over... creating a rock and a hard place just below the waist of my jeans.. I know the solution... care more about yourself first.. treat yourself self like you treat others... and know that looking after yourself .. in the long term.. you are looking after everyone else!
Great losses this week!!! It appears Mr. Quinlivan will be the first stone of the challenge unless anyone .. ahem... Rachel... can catch him next week!
I've recorded the losses from last weeks post... If I've missed you out let me know.. and anyone can join along the way... I've added your names so pressure is on!
Have a great week....
Mini challenge this week.. is drink 1 extra glass of water a day... this weather predisposes us to pop the kettle on.. and who can have tea without a biccie?!?! You'll feel better for it.. I promise!
Doll xxx
I had a crappy week, I was mega dehydrated last week hence the loss and so I gained it back this week! +6. Gah. Will be better this week.
ReplyDeletePut it behind you and start afresh! You've proved you can do this! xxx
DeleteLove your blog! Re joined WW on the 2nd of Oct and had a loss of 5 lbs the first week which gave me a huge boost and the motivation I needed to trek on!! Down 2lbs on the 16th so 7lb loss in total SO FAR!!! #skinnyforchristmas!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing start! well done! Shall I add you to the list above?! x
DeleteDown another pound this week! Slow and steady is my mantra - only 12.5lbs away from goal now!!
ReplyDeleteDown another 1.5lbs this week. TOugh week with the bank holiday but determined to keep it moving in the right direction!
DeleteI was doing pretty well mid week, but let loose on the weekend, and ended up with a .2 of a pound gain, so I'm back to where I started at the beginning of the challenge, boo! Hoping for progress in the right direction this week!
ReplyDeletejust heard about your page at my ww class night ....i am loving it so far ...still figuring it all out but i would love to be on your chart its a real motivation ....rejoined ww on sept 13 and so far 12lbs gone so i am on a good roll ... look forward to reading your page ....
ReplyDeleteDown 1.5 this week! Will definitely try and get extra water into me this week, you're right it's way too easy to put on the kettle and have tea and a biscuit when the weather is cold!
ReplyDeleteThanks for including me, started yesterday! Goal is 7 lbs b4 December should be doable ;)
ReplyDeleteJust wondering are ye all doing the 26 points or the old 29? I find the 26 mega difficult and I got to goal last year on 29 so am continuing with it...
Hi Doll, down 7 pounds this week, can you re-add me to the list again, cheers x
ReplyDeleteSts this week 3 to goal but struggling with these last few pounds going back to basics this week
ReplyDeleteCant seem to get started have put on just shy of 2st since baby no.4 8mths ago.Have never been this weight not even at full term with any of my babies!!!! Disgusted with myself have no clothes and refuse to buy any (not even that motivates me)!!!! Tired from lack of sleep and cooking dif meals for my family, I am veggie, weaning baby, fussy 2yr old.......grr....Any advice
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, I can see why you're frustrated but you have two amazing kids! The weight will come off! I got to goal last year (next Wednesday to be exact) and have put two stone back on. I now have 5lbs off and know it will be a long battle. Aim for 1lb a week. Would your 2year old eat any of your meals? Could you even make bigger portions of the 2year olds meals so that you can lunchbox them so you don't have to cook so many meals quite so often?
DeleteI find that it's getting into habit that really makes the difference, it's been three weeks now of not buying any treats etc during the week for after work, and it's making a very big difference.
All the best, you can do it x
thanks for reply....i do make extra portions for baby and 2yr old, have but also have 6 & 8 yr old one of whom wont eat potatoes at all! Any how know i am making excuses, cos not motivated. I feel slim til i look in mirror, so i just avoid mirrors!
DeleteJaysus, no wonder you have no time :D I do the same as you, although at the moment I am avoiding cameras - I thought I looked great last weekend until I looked at some photos - spurred me on a little bit. I'm sick at the moment though so not pushed this week about losing once I maintain!
DeleteMotivation will come to you, for me it's an upcoming break away. Take it in baby steps, a pound a week is a great loss and can be done in little changes.
yipee down another 2pounds this week lets hope we will be xmas crackers and not xmas puddings :)
ReplyDeleteDown half a pound...
ReplyDeleteI've stayed the same
ReplyDeleteOops, I'm really behind reporting my WI result. Don't feel too badly about only losing the half pound because I put up half a pound :( I'd rather be on your side of that!
ReplyDeletehi doll hope you are feeling good this week ...disappointing week for me but onwards and upwards i am up 1 pound this week ....so have to work a bit harder this week 1
