Push it! Week 7

Second last week of the challenge... time to really push yourself! Weight losses are FAB! This final push will make a huge difference...


The Olympics has to be mentioned.. and I usually only change the mast for the seasons.. but its a big deal... I know people either love it or hate it.. but even just to watch one event shows how dedicated people are to succeeding! Working for 4 years to build up strength and stamina to be a the peak of their health and performance.. kinda puts Miss Doll firmly on the lardy couch! But if you only take one pinch of the drive and determination they have.. you're already a winner.. if you want it badly enough.. you will succeed! It might be a long slow slog.. some of us have stones to lose and we know it will take months.. some only pounds but it has the same meaning to everyone! So take a peek or follow your heroes and think of what they had to do to be where they are... the early mornings... the training in the freezing winter.. the high protein diets.. they are focussed and want it! Take a look at the Irish boxer Katie Taylor ... that girl WANTS to succeed...




And if you have already decided you want it.. otherwise you wouldn't be weighing in and reading this! You've already made the choice to weigh in either at class or at home.. you're following a programme and doing it! So what if you're not an athlete.. you're you and on your journey and there will be medals for all at the end of it! So COME ON!!! I'm donning my cheerleader outfit.. make this week count.. there's only one more left in the challenge!!!




This weeks mini challenge is... 'don't use your 49 weekly points' .. I know I know.. they're life savers but they are extras.. and lets face it we spend most of em on bad stuff! So use your exercise points for treats but give your body a break and really push yourself! Its just for one week and you CAN do it! So many of you are proof that that little bit of effort can make such a difference.. I'll be weighing in tomorrow.. and am not sure what to expect after the drama of the last couple of weeks but its back on track 100% ... and don't forget how important it is to track too!



Exercise of the week .. is 10 of everything we've done along the way... push ups.. lunges.. skipping.. stretching... the works... do 5 in the morning and 5 in the evening... like a mini workout to get you up and a mini workout to wind down.. you'll sleep better I promise!

Losses are amazing... Juleser, Time to Change and Jennifer M drop me an email with a postal address, you are all on your second flower, in fact close to your third!!! You skinny minnies.. treats ahead!

  1. Unfortunately I was up 2lbs this week :-( totally deserved as I was at a 3 day 3 night music festival so I really paid no heed to anything at all. Back on form and hope to have it back down next week so my flower stays full at the end of week 8 :-)

    I actually find that I have better losses when I use at least half of my 49, if not all. There were 2 weeks where i used none or only a couple and they were both STS. I try to use them on good food or on alcohol and not on takeaways and greasy foods and things like that. But if im not drinking I might go out for a 3 course fancy dinner, or make a home made but slightly more indulgent dinner. Maybe thats why it works for me. So going to use half my 49 this week but really cut out the junk!!!

Hi Doll, Miss Kitty here,,, Wow where did the past weeks go,.Down 2,5 lbs today and thrilled to bits just half a pound off my 10% goal, past 6 weeks down 15,5 lbs My other half returns home in 2 weeks after 4 mths abroad working and even though he knows i started a "diet" he wll not believe what i have achieved so far, ( been on a diet every Monday morning) it has been along time since he has seen me this weight and i am sure he will love seeing the Less of me..lol
    So will try not to have my 49 this week, but to be honest that single gin and tonic looks lonely so a double could be what is needed,,

  3. Down 2.25lb this week. I adore the olympics but they're playing havoc with my exercise this week. There's only so many hours in the day :)

  6. Hey Doll have been offline last few weeks technologhy sucks! So sorry to see the hard time you and your family have been through. After weeks of being up the odd pound & down & staying same ive lost 2 lbs and reached my goal. At 5ft 1 i lost my 10 lbs and weigh 8'9 didnt think id see that again after baby. So delighted i fit into my skinniest jeans and that was my goal. Feel a millon dollars. Yay. Still sticking in here as im on maintenance now for 4 weeks.

  7. I lost my holiday gain from last week this week so I'm delighted. But have loads of stuff on this weekend. Only have 1 lbs to get into a new stone son hopefully I can do that this week.

    1. Hey.. yes there'll be a Halloween challenge and a xmas one for 2012! The Halloween one will be kicking off in a couple of weeks.. to join.. just comment in the post each week (I post mostly on Tuesdays) and on Friday I add up the losses and post the results! Easy peasy! Can't wait to start the next one!! xxx
