Time to get fruity!



Ola amigos.. firstly apologies for the delay in posting... another manuc working week .. but I've seen the losses so far and will update the board by this afternoon for sure! and WOW the losses are FAB!!! and yes its a good week in Camp Doll.. 1. I'm down 2.5 lbs! YAY! I hate being stuck in a rut... 2. My local rugby team who I follow and love are in the Heineken Cup final  and 3. YES.. I got a ticket! watch out London.. Doll is incoming!!! Suffice to say I think the scales may already be groaning for next week!


So.. how are you all? How did Operation Beautiful go? Not as easy as it sounds really is it? Still we gotta love us, otherwise no one else will! A positive word to yourself every now and then will do you good, so try to keep it up..and who's remembering the water... eek!

This week... its about getting fruity! Try a new fruit this week.. and for the die hards.. have a piece of fruit with every meal... banana with your porridge, a snack mid-morning... grapes at lunch... fruit salad for dinner, set some in jelly (delish... but remember pineapple doesn't work!) ... and smoothies.. you can add tonnes of fruit in there with a yoghurt, some ice and a dash of juice or milk... and with it being summer ... all the berries are about to come into their own! Strawberries ahead!


If there's something you've never tried or tried as a kid and hated it... then risk it this week and indulge! Fruit is free for those of us on ProPoints... and its a great way to stave off hunger... an its SO good for us... plus the world is a smaller place now.. you can indulge in Kiwis, mangos, starfruit, lychees, even go for tinned fruit although make sure it's in its own juice NOT syrup... and go a little crazy.... you might find a snack you love and totally forgot about...


Fingers and toes crossed for Leinster this Saturday... and that loud girl screaming on the telly box... that will be me!!!

  1. Hey Doll, Congrats on the loss - Go you!!! You are beautiful in every single way! :) I've been singing that song since last week and my house is covered in post-its and its been brilliant! Now its time to get fruity!! Will touch base with you on how it goes next week. :D

    1. Excellent! It's not as easy as it sounds and life is so short.. and we're all gorgeous!!! We're just very hard on ourselves and our thighs and tummies and bits WE think aren't OK! Silly magazines telling us we should be rakes! I'm having none of it I tell you! x

  2. I am on hols at mo so no weigh in for me thank god as id say im def gonna be up in my next weigh in on wed. Im not dogging it altogether but Im having a lovely time tho so as you say life is for living.will get back on track wgen i home nxt tue I am from tomorrow going to eat more fruit over here to try pull it back and hopefully all the walking will help a bit. Will check in nxt week. Yay for your loss :-)

  3. I was not very successful with Operation Beautiful, which resulted in being up half a pound. It goes to show how important it is to be good to yourself! Now I make a point of visiting the Operation Beautiful website daily to take inspiration from the quotes!

    I made a delicious 3 propoint fruit smoothie which tasted so indulgent! I love fruit!

    1. I've been living on smoothies this week! I'm sure my local grocer thinks I have some sort of scurvey or something! LOL ... well done.. and stick with the operation beautiful... I found it easier to start with more positive ones like.. I'm stronger than I realise... I'm kind... before moving onto the 'I'm a super model' type ones! LOL x

  6. Up 1 on Friday!dont know where I'm going wrong, back to weighing n measuring this wk! Also going to do my on measurements to see if perhaps I'm losing inches instead of pounds! Here's hoping! :)

    1. Absolutely measure!!! Some of the followers on twitter have lost inches but not changed weight!!! Check your portion size as well... I can be very generous when I'm hungry! Still lighter and closer to goal! xxx

  7. Down 2.75lb. Liked this challenge but boy, there are a lot of very sour raspberries and blueberries on sale in Irish supermarkets!

  9. STS this week and pretty happy. Was sure I'd be up, 7 course tasting menu on sat night and had a stressfull day so ate rings around myself today. Wanted to try an unusual fruit for my challenge this week, cos I eat a lot of fruit anyway - but i never made it to the super market! Oh well, will try pick something fun up this week xx

Was amazing, though tbh I dont think the food was my problem - all pretty healthy and tiny portions (or never would have got through all 7) But the amount of wine I had during and after the meal was prob my biggest issue lol!! Star fruit - that one is def going on my list of things to try xx

    3. sounds yum! Alcohol was my demon this weekend too.. rugby and boys and cider do not a skinny doll make! Still delighted I was down 1! Must have been all the shouting! Def try the star fruit... I thought it was yum although a bit of a luxury buying them here... boo! x

  10. Down another 1lb this week. Very happy as I've reached the mini goal I set myself, down 7lbs. Now let's see how much I can be down by the end of this challenge.

  13. well done on the loss - i stayed the same yesterday - aunty flo made an appearance today... so i dont really mind:) tried the facebook page but it doesnt give me the option to add you as a friend or message you... im loving the 49 weekly propoints - they are great.. just had a dairy milk lol :D

  14. Up 1 pound this week. I had a takeaway during the week and my boot camp was cancelled the would have saved me to burn it off. Ah well il jus try harder for next week. I away fruit everyday so was good with this challenge didn't try anything new yet though!!
    I'm def tracking everything this week to be down iv got very lazy with tracking in the last few weeks :-)
