Stir In Pasta Sauces from Ballymaloe!

Spotted in my local Dunnes stores, new 'stir in' pasta sauces from Ballymaloe!

180g jars so small but as you'd expect, packed with flavour... if the endless cooking is getting to you, lash one of these in some pasta with some bacon bits and top with cheese, sure you're practically in Italy! I've also added the large 400g jars and the new 'hidden veggies' version I haven't seen before... if the little ones are sick of veggies it might be worth a look to trick them into some extra veg...

Flavoured cauliflower rice...

Love it or loathe it, there's plenty of versions of it about... It really is the Marmite of veggies! I'm a fan of the cauliflower rice, especially when I'm running low on points but I prefer to make it fresh and add ALL the flavours to it... it's so easy to make and egg fried rice with the frozen cauliflower rice, add some soy sauce, sweet chilli, chinese 5 spice and your protein is just gorgeous and so filling... I find the flavoured ones in packs are WAY better than the plain versions, I've actually binned a plain one straight after opening it... This brand is new to me though, I haven't tried it yet but will report back, Fullgreen riced cauliflower with tomato, garlic and herbs... Anyone tried it out? x

Salad Dressing Sprays from Heinz...

There's a new range of salad dressings out from Heinz, there's 4 in total (the three below and Chilli & Lime which was sold out in my Supervalu!) I got the balsamic and garlic one to try out and it's lovely! Mad to try the zesty lemon one but my fridge will be full of dressings if I don't stop but I'm thinking it would be lovely with fishy type salads! Anyone tried them out? x

Meadow Fresh Green Pesto

With the summer salads here (hopefully to stay for a while!) a drizzle of pesto can liven up a pasta salad or a home made pizza with just a tablespoons worth! This is the Meadow Fresh Green pesto from Lidl... Irish made and delicious! If you can't stop at a table spoon walk away, it's SO good!

Blackcastle Sausages!

Now everyone just CALM DOWN! They're back this Saturday! Lots of chats on social media about these sausages from Blackcastle Farm... I couldn't find them in my Aldi (I suspect they might be the new toilet roll frenzy!) 2 sausages for 2SP! With the BBQs all dusted down and primed, they're the business!
