Seafeast Range...

Up today is some of the range from Seafeast! Succulent seafood products, specially sourced. You'll find them in Tesco, Dunnes and SuperValu for sure! I know the points can seem high in some of the battered/breaded products but compared to the the fish you'll get deep fried in the chipper you'll still be better off points wise... The cooked coldwater prawns are so yummy if you make your own "pink sauce" ... Anyone tried them out? x

Taste of goodness...

Another Irish product that you will spot when you're in Supervalu and Iceland. There's 10 sauces in their range (I spotted 8 in my local Supervalu) and with BBQ, salads and all things summery on the go at the moment, adding flavour is all in the dressing and seasoning! With a big plate of zero heroes and your protein, these are worth spending the SmartPoints on in my opinion. Gluten, GM, shellfish & lactose free, suitable for vegetarians and made with rapeseed oil so they're a great source of Omega 3 too. Anyone tried them out? x

One for the Gluten Free Dolls out there... SuperValu has new GF bases in the freezer section.. I normally make my pizzas with wraps but if you were doing it for a gang of friends and needed a GF base it would definitely be an option... Green Saffron is an Irish range of spices and sauces for those spicy Dolls out there! The sachets are all 25g and serve 4 - 6 people so you if you're a batch cooker or are cooking over a couple of nights its very little SmartPoints for LOADS of flavour! Their sauces are in 300g jars so I've pointed for full and half jars, again if you're doing a family meal it's easier to portion it out!
