WEIGH IN Week 5




Week 5! Half way there!!! as Bon Jovi would say.. and some weeks definitely Livin on a prayer!

But a massive HIGH FIVE to all of you! Even the lurkers.. I know you're all doing great! Miss Doll lost those 2 pounds she found last week.. hoorraayyyy.. but on a funnier note.. a girl in my class recommended I read a certain.. *ahem* blog! It was very funny and very flattering! I'm glad people get something out of my rantings and ravings.. but you all insprire and keep me on track!! Some days I'm afraid to come on here and spill I was such a piggy!!! But we're all human eh? So Thank YOU!

This week.. the day of luurrrrvvvveeeeee... ooohhh yes.. I mean PANCAKE TUESDAY!!!! (you didn't really think I'd fall for the other one did you!?)... I've got a post coming up later so don't buy anything till you've seen whats out there!!

Over 6 and a half stone gone between the lot of us!!! HOW brilliant is that?! Thats a whole Victoria Beckham! Look at the bigger picture... everyone is doing fabulously!

Keep an eye on my adding please, and if I've missed you shout out .. I'm distracted with all the toppings and fillings I'm pointing... *drool*

  1. Up half a pound this week :-/this challenge has not been going well for me. Though if I lose at least that 0.5lb at WI next week then I'm going to call it goal.

    I haven't been losing but my pilates/kettlebells instructor said she has noticed a change in my body - she said there is more definition and its leaner. So my new exercise regime is paying off. We can't always win on the scales!

    1. Remember its just a number!! Have a look online at 5lbs of fat and 5pounds of muscle! The size is different but they both weigh the same! Don't beat yourself up over the number on a scale! You're probably well toned and thats all muscle! You've rocked every challenge to get to goal! And you're here! Time to celebrate.. though not with food!! Shoes!! MMMMmmmmmmmmmm! You'll always be floating a couple of pounds either side of your goal anyway... just a number.. nothing more! x

    2. You are totally right. This is always been the weight that my weight loss has stalled and I need to start paying a bit more attention to my body. If I can maintain this then I will be very happy so thats my next challenge - making sure I do not slip into old habits!!

    3. and I bet if you check your measurements you'll be inches down! Maintence is the way forward.. and look at the non scale victories over the last months as you've been losing.. more energy.. looser clothes.. feeling better in yourself.. all much more important than a number that changes from scale to scale!!! xxx

  3. Hi Doll!
    I put on 2lbs last week (week 4) too :(, although in fairness I get weighed on a Monday and I had been up to my boyfriend's house at the weekend and ate/drank ALOT, so not surprised really.
    Back on the wagon this week, and hopefully it'll be a loss on Monday! :)
    I'm treating myself to a bottle of wine with my sister, and making the most out of my weekly points, but I try to use all the weeklys that I'm going to by the Friday, giving me saturday and sunday to be more strict and 'detox' before the weigh-in on the Monday (hopefully!)

    1. We've all had the +2 lbs week it seems... hang in there.. its just a blip... you know where you went wrong.. you had a good time.. lifes too short to get hung up over it.. you're back and working it and that's what matters! x

  4. Hey Doll! I'm blank up there but I'm down 9.5 altogether - Week 1 -6.5, Week 2 -2, Week 3 STS, Week 4 -1.5 and Week 5 WI is tomorrow. Everyone's doing great x

  6. Hi Doll. Stayed the same again this week BUT was away for a night and out on the town 2 other nights so I should be happy I wasn't up. Will definitely have a loss next week. Thanks for all the info about pancakes - can enjoy some now without any guilt if I follow your tips! Marguerite

    1. Even a few nights on the town you managed to STS so it shows you're probably making better choices without even realising it! If you had gone mad you could have been up 3 or 4 lbs! its easily done! Well done x i LOVED my pancakes yesterday... nutella and banana ... mmmmmmmmmmm I'm drooling as I type LOL !
